An explosion rocked Kidandan community, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State when 10 children were playing with explosive devices. An investigation has commenced.
Although the authorities were yet to react to the incident, journalists were told that the explosion happened on Saturday.
The explosion reportedly caused tension and fear in the predominantly Hausa community.
According to a source, “Tension gripped Kidandan Village in the Giwa council of Kaduna State on Saturday afternoon.
“Ten children suffered injuries in a sudden explosion. The incident occurred while the children were playing with an object discovered in a nearby bush.
“Emergency services are there, while an investigation is ongoing.”
The Kaduna explosion is coming a few days ago, a devastating explosion wreaked havoc on Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
