Brazilian sensation Vitor Roque has described his move to FC Barcelona as a dream come true.
Roque said this as he was unveiled as a new Barca player on Friday.
The 18-year-old earned his club debut in Barcelona’s 2-1 La Liga victory against Las Palmas, and he is anticipated to play an important role in the coming months.
Despite the club’s ongoing efforts to balance its finances and player registrations, they have been granted permission to register its new star until the conclusion of the season, with an update coming ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
Following his official club presentation, Vitor Roque talked with the club’s media channels to convey his delight at finally joining the team.
“It’s a dream come true to be here. Before making my debut, Xavi told me to be calm and my teammates have welcomed me very well”, he said.
After coming off the bench in Gran Canaria, he could make a starting debut this weekend, as Barcelona head to fourth tier side Barbastro in Copa del Rey action.
