45+4′ Osimhen who has been a thorn in the flesh of Rigobert Song’s side is fouled and Nigeria wins a free-kick in Cameroon’s half.

45+2′ Nigeria wins a throw-in which Aina takes. Cameroon tries to make a break but Troost-Ekong clears his line and concedes a throw-in.




45′ Six (6) extra minutes have been added to the first half.

44′ N’Koudou’s wayward free-kick fails to meet any of his teammate and goes out for a goal kick for Nigeria.

41′ Into the final minutes of the first half and Cameroon win a free-kick just outside Nigeria’s box. Too-Ekambi loses his footing and steps on Zaidu Sanusi.

39′ Nigeria making another forward surge with Zaidu who crosses but his effort is too long for Osimhen and it’s a throw-in for Cameroon.

35′ GOAL! Osimhen’s pressure pays off as he dispossesses Gonzalez before slotting a pass to Lookman who scores to make it 1-0.
